This all new designed Kerbid.com VDC Polyurethane Carrier Bearing for the Pontiac G8 is a perfect replacement for any power level. I had this installed when I swapped over to a Camaro rear cradle. Since the drive shaft was out, might as well. I also at the same time and it is recommended to update the transmission mount. I went with the OEM Version 2 revision, but an alternative is the Tuffmount. You will get a slight increase if vibration but that is do to the poly material rather then the OEM soft rubber. Worthwhile update to the drive train
