High Output Intercooled Supercharger 525+ to 1300 HP

Utilizing 8 psi of intercooled boost, a ProCharger System for GT-equipped G8 produces a 50-55% power gain on otherwise stock engines running high quality pump gas. Built around the ProCharger P-1SC-1 supercharger and a dedicated, 8-rib drive, the system comes 100% complete, including the front-mounted air-to-air intercooler, fuel injectors and a hand-held programmer.

With its 6.0L V-8 carrying a factory rating of 361 HP and 385 lb-ft of torque, the ProCharger HO Intercooled System produces more than 540 HP with just 7 psi of intercooled boost while running pump gas. Higher boost and power levels are also available for modified engines. This system utilizes the industry leading ProCharger P-1SC-1 supercharger with self-contained oiling, meaning there is no need for external oil lines or oil pan modification. Designed and manufactured in the USA, utilizing a highly-efficient air-to-air intercooler and a dedicated supercharger drive system with an automatic tensioner, this is the most advanced and reliable supercharger system available for the Pontiac G8 GT.

With reliability, quality and power far superior to other forced-air induction systems, both the Procharger HO Intercooled System and Tuner Kit are excellent ways to add even more power to the world-class performance of the Pontiac G8 GT.

This kit offers an F-1D and F-1A option in addition to the D-1SC. The F series blowers include the larger open race bypass valve with a steel flange. The standard ProFlow steel flange will have to be removed and the included larger Race valve flange needs to be welded in.

Harmonic balancers: The ProCharger kit is designed to work with the 2008 GM balancer, which has three spokes of about 1.5″ width. In 2009 GM changed to a balancer whose spokes are approx 0.800″ in width, too narrow to work with the crank hardware that comes in the kit. Those of you with 2009’s wanting this kit will want to identify which HB you have, especially if your production date is after July 9, 2008 . Reach you hand down there and feel the the spokes, you’ll be able to feel if it’s the wide one or the narrow one. If you have the narrow one you’ll have to swap out the balancer for one for a 2008.

The D-1X is not shown as an option due to fender well clearance problems. It can be ordered but the wheelwell may require massaging to allow the blower to fit.
