One of the questions we get a lot of is what is the best LED headlight option for my G8. That question is not always an easy question to answer. So to help you with your decision, we have decided to write this Blog Post explaining the difference in the high-quality LED options we offer.
MORIMOTO 2STROKE LED KIT
MORIMOTO is known the world over as making some of the most high quality aftermarket lighting available. Offering some of the brightest LED headlights on the market and a great warranty, they are hard to beat.
Specs:
- 2x CREE XHP50 Sets Per Bulb
- 5000lm Raw Per Bulb (10,000 total)
- 6000k Color Temp

Pros:
- Ultra bright 10,000 raw lumens per set
- Easy install, no ballasts or relays needed
- Includes Rubber dust cap extension (you must cut a hole in your stock dust cap to fit extension in)
- Great, Hassle-Free warranty program
Cons
- Will NOT fit with factory dust cap
- Only comes in sizes to fit the OEM headlight and SPYDER headlight, NOT the Spec-D

PROFILE PEAK LED KIT
PROFILE is a heavy hitter in the industry who’s is making waives with their all new products across the board, they are super high quality and also carry an amazing warranty.
Specs:
- 2x 8mm SSC CSP LED Sets Per Bulb
- 3000lm Per Bulb (6,000 total)
- 6000k Color Temp
- Direct H11, H7 or H1 Fitment
- 3 Year Warranty
Pros:
- Very bright 6,000 lumens per set
- Easiest plug-n-play installation available
- Fits under the stock dust caps (some say with zero modification, others say they had to sand a small area inside of cap, could be how its screwed on that makes that difference)
- Has sizes to fit OEM, Spyder and Spec-D headlight housings
- Great, Hassle-Free warranty program
Cons:
