While this Radium Engineering Fuel Hanger Plumbing Kit was originally developed for the 2010-2015 Chevrolet Camaro, it also serves as the ideal plumbing solution for Pontiac G8 owners installing a Radium Engineering fuel hanger. Since the Camaro and G8 share GM’s Zeta platform and utilize an extremely similar fuel system layout, this kit integrates seamlessly into the G8 with the same proven routing and functionality.

Rather than using a single oversized feed line, Radium engineered this kit around dual 6AN PTFE feed lines. This design wasn’t chosen simply for increased flow—it solves a packaging challenge unique to the Zeta chassis. A single 8AN feed line is too large to comfortably fit between the fuel tank and the vehicle’s unibody, while two 6AN PTFE lines provide nearly the same flow capacity and route cleanly through the available space.

Another major advantage of this system is its ability to retain important factory components. The rear section of the OEM fuel line remains in place, preserving the factory fuel pressure sensor required for ECU diagnostics and fuel system monitoring. The remaining factory feed hard line is then repurposed as a dedicated 6AN return line, creating a clean return-style fuel system without unnecessary fabrication or modification.

The kit also includes a high-flow fuel filter with an integrated check valve, along with a vehicle-specific mounting bracket that installs without permanently modifying the chassis. A thermal insulating sleeve protects the PTFE fuel lines from abrasion and exhaust heat, while a billet aluminum hose clamp securely routes the downstream fuel line away from high-temperature header areas for added reliability.

This plumbing kit is designed to work with Radium Engineering fuel rails and fuel rail plumbing kits (sold separately). The supplied plumbing routes fuel from the filter to the passenger-side fuel rail, while the included return line connects the fuel pressure regulator back to the factory hard line for a complete return-style fuel system.

It is originally designed for the 2010-2015 Chevrolet Camaro but is fully compatible with the 2008-2009 Pontiac G8 due to the shared GM Zeta platform fuel system design.

While this plumbing kit is fully compatible with the 2008-2009 Pontiac G8, it was originally engineered for the 2010-2015 Chevrolet Camaro, which utilizes a Pulse Width Modulated (PWM) fuel pump control system from the factory.

The Pontiac G8 does not use PWM fuel pump control from the factory. Therefore, any Radium fuel hanger equipped with multiple fuel pumps (dual or triple pump configurations) will require an aftermarket PWM fuel pump controller to properly operate the pumps. This is critical for maintaining proper pump operation, reducing heat, extending pump life, and ensuring stable fuel delivery during normal driving and high-load conditions.

Additionally, this kit:

Reuses the factory rear fuel line and OEM fuel pressure sensor, preserving factory ECU fuel pressure diagnostics.
Repurposes the factory feed hard line as the fuel system return line.
Requires Radium Engineering fuel rails and fuel rail plumbing kit (sold separately).
May require additional fuel system components depending on your specific engine combination and horsepower goals.
