Every throttle body is precision CNC machined from 6061-T6 billet aluminum and finished in a sleek black anodized coating for outstanding durability, corrosion resistance, and an aggressive underhood appearance. The oversized throttle bore dramatically increases airflow compared to factory throttle bodies, supporting higher horsepower levels while improving throttle response and engine acceleration.

Engineered specifically for boosted performance, the Granatelli throttle body features a heavy-duty, high-torque electronic motor and proprietary throttle blade design capable of maintaining precise throttle control under 25+ PSI of boost. The reinforced design helps prevent unwanted throttle blade movement or closure during aggressive acceleration, making it an excellent choice for TVS, Whipple, Roots-style superchargers, turbocharged combinations, and custom race builds.

Installation is straightforward thanks to its direct bolt-on design. The throttle body utilizes the factory-style late-model GM 6-pin drive-by-wire connector, includes the required adapter for supported applications, and requires no transfer of sensors or factory components. It is compatible with many factory and aftermarket intake manifolds, although some intake combinations may require an additional adapter depending on the manifold design.
